I remember clearly the day I decided I would definitely be a part of the prestigious Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) 2019 edition. I was in Delhi at the time, it was a cold foggy morning in the month of February 2019, just a few days after I had concluded a final 300km brevet at Noida to achieve the "Super Randonneuse" Title for the season 2018-19. Having now met the qualification criteria for the PBP and well within time, I was literally in seventh heaven! The fact that I had cleared another stepping stone that brought me closer to my dream, was an incredible feeling. I was skeptical still -no doubt about it, but also supremely elated to be in a position to give it a shot! And so, with a ton of nervous excitement, multiple questions abuzz in my head, and lots of enthusiastic support from the family, I took the plunge and channelled myself to “Get into Gear” Mode for the grand cycling event. I didn’t know it then, but my randonneuring experience was about to attain a whole new level of upgrade, and how!

The diamond that was PBP = Ultimate Upgrade!

PARIS-BREST-PARIS 2019: C'est quoi ça?! यह क्या ??! What’s That You Ask?!

For the uninitiated, the terms used above must have caused quite the bit of confusion as understandable. To figure it all out, do check out my previous posts that give you a peek into this sport that I speak of- one of cycling’s most welcoming, satisfying disciplines : RANDONNEURING.
